And just like that, the new year is in full swing! We’ve had an amazing start to 2025 at our Activity Club, with plenty of laughs, creativity, and even a little learning along the way. Here’s a look back at what we got up to in January.

6th January – Catching Up After Christmas

After a well-earned festive break, it was great to get everyone back together for a chilled-out catch-up. We swapped Christmas stories, enjoyed some games, and eased back into the swing of things. A perfect way to start the year!

13th January – Hand Washing & Personal Hygiene Clinic

We kicked off our first themed session of the year with an important (but still fun!) topic—staying clean and healthy. We talked about hand-washing, self-care, and all the little things that help us feel our best. Who knew learning about hygiene could be so entertaining?

20th January – Jewellery Making

Time to get creative! This week, we dived into jewellery making, and let’s just say—we’ve got some serious talent in the group! From bracelets to necklaces, everyone made something special to take home. We might need to start a little jewellery business at this rate!

27th January – Burns Night Celebration

We wrapped up January with a proper Scottish celebration for Burns Night. There was poetry (some impressive attempts at reciting it, too!), Scottish tunes, and even a few traditional treats to try as we baked shortbread together. A brilliant way to end the month!

January flew by, and we’re already buzzing for what’s coming up in February. Stay tuned for more fun, games, and surprises!
